Human Rights Violation: Workplace Safety in the Cannabis Industry

The workers behind the scenes making the cannabis industry a reality are being exposed to unregulated and extremely unsafe working conditions. Common industry wide workplace hazards include inadequate airflow, pesticide application, mixing of chemical fertilizers without protective eye wear, unlabeled bamboo stakes, flammable solvents and loose CO2 canisters.
